Delete your account

Last updated 28 August 2026

You can close your LeagueOwl account yourself, in the app or on the web. It takes effect immediately — there is nothing to request and nobody to wait for.

In the app

Open More → Account, scroll to Delete your account, and type DELETE to confirm.

On the web

Sign in and go to Account settings. The same confirmation is at the bottom of the page.

What it removes

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Your notification settings, the devices you receive push notifications on, and your calendar links.
  • Any posts and reactions you wrote on a team feed.
  • Your place on every league and team you belonged to.
  • Children only you are responsible for, along with their registrations and any medical notes — unless a season is still running around them, in which case the record is emptied of everything personal and left with the league until that season ends.

What stays

  • A child another guardian is also responsible for. That is their record too, and it is untouched.
  • Payment records, which a league has to be able to account for. They no longer carry your name.
  • Messages you sent to families, which are part of their history of the season rather than yours. They no longer name you.
  • A record that an account was deleted, and when.

Once it is done you cannot sign in again, and we cannot undo it. Export your data first if you want a copy — that is one button above the delete one.

If you are the only owner of a league

Deletion is refused until somebody else is an owner of that league. Otherwise every family registered in it would be left in a league with nobody able to administer it. Add another owner from the league’s settings, then delete.

If you cannot get in

Write to privacy@leagueowl.com from the email address on the account and we will do it for you. We will ask you to confirm from that address before anything is deleted, because otherwise anybody who knows your email could close your account.
